Your Mac, by voice.
Hold a key and say what you want done. Octaflow does it across your apps, checks its work, and waits for your yes before anything is sent.

I’m running ten minutes late.”
Illustrative demo · based on the app’s current behavior
- You ask Octaflow to pause Spotify and tell Tim you’re running late.
- It pauses Spotify, checks playback, opens Tim’s conversation, and writes the message.
- It asks before sending. After your yes, it sends the message.
Say it once. Watch it happen.
A reply, a setting, a quick check. Choose a request and see how Octaflow handles it.
The plan
- By commandExact answers like playback, volume or Dark Mode run a fixed, reviewed action. Instant, no guessing.
- By reading the appIt finds buttons and fields by name, the way a screen reader does, in Mail, Messages, Finder and Chrome.
- By looking at one windowFor questions and tricky steps it looks at that one window. Never your whole screen.
A voice for whatever
you’re working on.
Ask Octaflow to do a task, dictate at your cursor, or type a request. The choice is yours.
Thursday works for me.
Ask for a reply. Octaflow prepares it and waits for your yes.
Illustrative interface · not a recording
And it tells you the truth about what happened.
After every action Octaflow looks again. It only says “done” when it sees proof it didn’t create itself. Here’s how the three kinds of answer read:
- Checked Spotify is paused. Playback stopped at 1:42.
- Unconfirmed I clicked Submit, but the page didn’t change. Worth a look.
- Couldn’t look Chrome didn’t answer, so I’m not assuming anything.
What stays with you.
Your voice never leaves your Mac. Here’s exactly where everything else goes.
Stays on your Mac
- Your voice, turned into text right on your Mac
- Your last 20 recordings, for troubleshooting
- A log of what each request did
- Shortcuts it learned from tasks that worked
Leaves only while a task runs
- The text of your request
- The buttons and fields of the app it’s using
- A picture of that one window, only when a step needs it
Never
- Your whole screen
- Password, keychain, banking or wallet apps
- Your requests or screens stored on our server
- Selling your data, or using it for ads
For anyone who’d rather talk than click.
Whether your hands are busy, tired, or hard to use, Octaflow lets you run your Mac with your voice: open, find, write, reply and more.

Questions.
Is my voice uploaded anywhere?
No. Speech is turned into text on your Mac. Only the text of your request is used to do the task.
Which apps does it work with?
Most Mac apps with standard controls, like Mail, Messages, Finder, Spotify and System Settings, plus websites in Google Chrome. It reads apps the way a screen reader does, so apps that are accessible to screen readers work best.
What if it gets something wrong?
It checks after every action and tells you when something is unconfirmed. You can press Stop in the Octa bar at any time, and anything that sends, deletes, buys or posts waits for your yes first.
Can it see my screen?
Only one app window, and only when a step needs it. Never your whole screen, and never password, banking or wallet apps. Those pictures aren’t saved.
Does it need the internet?
Turning speech into text works offline. Planning and doing tasks needs a connection.
How much does it cost?
Dictation is free. Octaflow Pro, for asking Octaflow to do things, is $20 a month or $192 a year, with generous monthly usage. You upgrade inside the app, and you can cancel anytime. See pricing.
Just say the word.
Free to download, and dictation is free forever. For Macs with Apple silicon.
